Minez Item Uses and Information

When playing on the Minez servers the topic of what items do what and which food is the best for healing comes into question a lot so I’ve made a list of different items, weapons, and foods and what they do on the server. Food Items Apple – restores 2 corndogs on the hunger bar Golden Apple – restores 2 corndogs plus 5 seconds of health regen. Watermelon – restores 1 corndog on the hunger bar Cake – restores 1 corndog on the hunger bar per hit Bread – restores almost 3 corndogs on the hunger bar Rotten Flesh – restores 2 corndogs on the hunger bar Mushroom Stew – restores a whopping 4 corndogs on the hunger bar Weapons Wooden Sword – takes away 2 hearts per hit Stone Sword – takes away 2 and a half hearts per hit Stone Axe – takes away 2 and a half hearts per hit plus it allows for knockback on zombies Iron Sword – takes away 3 hearts per hit Diamond Sword – takes away 3 and a half hearts per hit Bow and Arrow fully drawn – takes away 4 and a half hearts and headshots deal double damage Healing Items Milk – cures food poisoning and zombie infection Paper- stops bleeding and restores a half a heart of health Shears – used to heal people Lime Dye – used with shears to help cure infection on others Rose Dye – used with shears to regen other player’s health Other Items Iron Shovel – used to break cobwebs and cactus Wooden Hoe – used to harvest melons and mushrooms Button – to obviously open doors Snowball – acts as a zombie distraction when thrown Ender Pearl – when thrown it explodes like a grenade but it attracts zombie hoards Now you know which items are best to use and which ones can be left in a chest when pillaging and scavenging towns. I have yet to see a diamond sword on any of the servers yet but if they’re out there don’t pick a fight with the guy wielding it because it can end very badly for you unless you snipe him with a bow. Be sure to always watch your back when playing because bandits are out there and zombies like to play tag a lot.
