There’s a new mod in the works for Minecraft and its going to be a dozy. This mod is taking after the theme of the Day-Z mod for Arma 2 and its going to turn Minecraft into a living hell. For those of you that don’t know what Day-Z is, it’s a zombie survival mod that puts players in the shoes of a survivor trying not to die in a post apocalyptic world filled with zombie and other players that want to kill you. This mod is called MineZ and what this mod will do to Minecraft is it will basically turn zombies into killing machines, give you a hydration bar so that you can die from dehydration, and pretty much turn the game into a blocky Day-Z type game.

The zombies in Minecraft are relatively easy to kill as long as you keep walking away and hit them occasionally but in the MineZ mod it’s going to speed up the zombies so that they’re much faster than before and way more aggressive. When you start the game it gives you a glass of water, a wooden sword, and a piece of paper which act as bandages. MineZ is still in pre-beta mode and the only way you can play it is to donate to help them pay for the server and other costs to create and run this mod. The Mod is hopefully going to be released sometime in July.Below is a video of Juicetra and SeaNanners playing the MineZ mod on a pre-beta server.
